Farm Mechanization Scheme (AGR-3)

To encourage the adoption of modern agricultural equipment, the Gujarat government offers subsidies on various farm implements

  • iconTractor Subsidy: Farmers can receive a subsidy of 25% of the total cost or up to ₹45,000, whichever is less, for purchasing tractors.​
  • iconPower Tiller Subsidy: A subsidy of 40% of the total cost or up to ₹24,000 is available for power tillers.
  • iconChaff Cutter Subsidy: Farmers can avail 50% of the total cost or up to ₹15,000 for chaff cutters.

To benefit from these subsidies, farmers need to apply through the i-Khedut portal. ​

Micro Irrigation Scheme

Aimed at promoting efficient water use, this scheme provides subsidies for installing micro-irrigation systems

  • General Farmers: Up to 70% of the Micro Irrigation System (MIS) unit cost or ₹70,000 per hectare, whichever is less.​
  • Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) Farmers: Up to 85% of the MIS unit cost or ₹1,00,000 per hectare, whichever is less.​

AGR-14: Subsidy on Seeds, Fertilizers, and Pesticides for Tribal Farmers

This scheme provides subsidies to tribal farmers in the Dang district for purchasing seeds, chemical fertilizers, and pesticides, aiming to enhance agricultural productivity in tribal regions. Applications can be submitted through the i-Khedut portal.

Smartphone Subsidy Scheme for Farmers

To integrate technology into agriculture, the Gujarat government offers a subsidy covering 40% of the cost of a smartphone or ₹6,000, whichever is lower. This initiative enables farmers to access real-time information on weather, market prices, and modern farming techniques.

Suryashakti Kisan Yojana (SKY)

This scheme allows farmers to generate solar power for their irrigation needs and sell surplus electricity to the grid. Farmers receive ₹7 per unit for the first seven years and ₹3.5 per unit for the subsequent 18 years, promoting renewable energy use and providing an additional income source.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN)

A central government initiative providing ₹6,000 per year in three installments to small and marginal farmers, aiming to ensure a stable income for farmers nationwide.

Gramin Bhandaran Yojana
